6 Skin Care Mistake that People Commonly Make

Skin care is so essential, but a lot of times people end up doing mistakes thinking that they’re doing the right things.

Well, I’m going to tell you six mistakes that people most commonly do. Keep reading this article and rectify the mistakes that you were doing.

1. Use Water to Wash Their Face

People a lot of times just use water to wash their face. They think that’s adequate. Well it’s not, water will not be able to remove the oil, the sebum, and the dirt which fix to the skin.

So one must use either a good face wash or use masoor dal and make a powder of it and use a scrub to clean your face. You can use Basin if you have dry skin as Basin is very good.

You can also use cleansing milk if you have dry skin or normal skin, but if you have oily skin, you will have to use a salicylic acid based face wash. It’s extremely important to not use soaps on the face because soaps will alter the pH and make the skin more dehydrated.

2. Scrubbing Everyday

Many times people use scrubs every single day. Well, scrubbing is good because you are exfoliating the skin and removing the dead skin, but you should do this just about once in a week or once in a fortnight. Scrubbing every day is going to dehydrate your skin.

It’s going to drip off the protective bearing oils which are there on your skin, making your skin more and more sensitive.

3. Cut Off That CUTICLES

A lot of times people dig into those cuticles and they try to remove it when they’re doing their pedicures and manicures. Whether you do it in a parlor and a salon or at home, make sure you do not cut back cuticle away. The cuticle is a barrier or protective layer which is protecting the bed of your nail from all the organisms which are present in the environment and the dust and the dirt.

So if you’re going to take that off, you go to have fungal and bacterial infections of the nail and of the nail bed. Sometimes they’d have swelling and pain. It’s really troublesome. So never cut your cuticles and be safe from organisms.

4. Use Makeup Without Sunscreen

A lot of times what people do is that they will use makeup with SPF in it. If you have pigmentation or if you’re going to be outdoors for long hours, then choose that makeup with SPF is not going to protect you from ultraviolet A and ultraviolet B so you have to use a sunscreen.

What you should do is first apply moisturizer and then sunscreen and on top of that, you use makeup. So if you have that makeup have an SPF, it’s just an added bonus. Remember no using makeup with sunscreen without the country so the sunscreen is essential.

5. No Moisturizer Needed For People With Oily Skin

People with oily skin feel they don’t need a moisturizer. Well, that’s absolutely wrong. Your skin gets dehydrated because of pollution, long hours in the AC, if it’s too hot, or if it’s stressed, if there is constant sweating, then your skin needs a lot of moisture. So it is essential to use a moisturizer. Always remember to pick something which is oil free. There are lots of them available in the market. Ensure that you don’t forget to moisturize even if you have oily skin or acne prone skin. There are water-based moisturizers available in the market which you can use.

6. Apply All The Creams Available

Whatever is there at home is not to be applied on the face. A lot of times you may have dry skin, flaky skin and you think tomatoes are very good, limes very good, believing that you have seen it somewhere on the internet or somebody’s told you and you take and you apply that. Remember that these products are acids and if you have dry skin and flaky skin, the acid will irritate your skin and you’ll have pigmentation. You will also have scarring and sometimes burns. So don’t do that. You need to understand your skin type and then try all the home remedies.
